       Vitamin D effective against COVID

And It’s no surprise to me!
Israeli scientists say they have accumulated the most convincing evidence so far that taking vitamin D supplements can help COVID-19 patients reduce the risk of serious illness or death.
A previous study (BMJ 2017) evaluated 25 eligible randomised controlled trials with a total 11 321 participants reported; Vitamin D supplementation was safe and it protected against acute respiratory tract infection overall. Patients who were very vitamin D deficient and those not receiving bolus doses experienced the most benefit.

It’s about time health departments address this now.
